Communion: n, \kə-ˈmyü-nyən\
1 an act or instance of sharing
2 intimate fellowship or rapport
3 a body of Christians having a common faith and discipline
This is the word I landed on after the last few days, which I spent here:
and here:
with three dear friends, including these two:
I have known one of these three girls for over 20 years, another for almost 5, and the third for 6 months. Our stories are different, our lives are different, and our histories together are different, but that is the wonder of authentic communion. They are three beautiful women who love the Lord, love each other, sharpen me in countless ways, and I am thankful for every moment I have known each of them.
In these girls, the communion we share, and the God who envelopes and sustains it…
I am blessed.
